250 Pulse begins with a simple belief: love of country can be honest without becoming cynical, proud without becoming exclusionary, and hopeful without ignoring the work still ahead. America’s story is not one voice or one moment. It is a continuing argument about liberty, responsibility, opportunity, service, and belonging.
Our goal is to make that story approachable. We look back at the nation’s founding and turning points, but we also look around at the communities doing useful work today—and forward to the choices that will define the next 250 years.
Patriotism is strongest when it gives people a reason to contribute, not a reason to divide.
What we cover
